Friendships do not recognize differences in age, race and ancestry, and they are reserved not only for humans but also for animal species. This is also the case of the Belgian Malinois, Ing, who found his friend in an owl named Poldi.

This friendship was registered in the photos of animal photographer Tanja Brandt, who captured footage of the two enjoying each other’s company. That was actually the start of her beautiful photo series about the dog Ingo and the Poldi Owl.

But this is not her unique example of friendship between feathered friends in her animal family that Ingo became close to. You can see all of Ing’s friends by visiting Tanja’s 500 px page – 500px.com/tanjabrandt and a Facebook page – Ingoundfriends

You can find Tanja’s collections about her fur and feathered family and her art on her website:

In 2015 Tanja said to Bored Panda:

“I’ve always loved animals, since I was a baby, unlike the rest of my family.”

She added that when she was little, she found every sort of pet and then hid it from her parents. She, also emphasized that she loves the beauty, power, loyalty, courage, and friendship of animals and that many people could learn from them.
