I will not lie, I discovered Buttered Saltine Crackers only a few weeks ago. I think it may be that my grandparents have never taught me this in my life! Over the years, most people I have talked to know about this snack have eaten it as a child, but some people are as confused as I am. But I have to say I tried it and it was delicious. Whether you try it or not, buttered saltine biscuits are once again a simple and delicious snack- you can prepare in seconds! Seriously, you should try this and enjoy it at any time of the year.
First soften the butter and spread it on the cookie; if you don’t do this, you may destroy the cookie.
Put in on the top of the cookie.
Eat and enjoy!
Some people even say that you can turn the biscuits over so that the salty side touches your tongue and the other side is covered with the butter. It is also delicious to bake them for a few minutes to make them warm. Then just spread the butter and let them melt gently.
Buttered Saltine Firecrackers
However, if you want to take your butter biscuits to the next level, try this amazing Saltine Firecracker Recipe. Make it by mixing melted butter with everything else. Pour the firecracker juice on the biscuit, close the bag, and shake it.
2/3- 1 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 bag of Italian seasoning mixture
1 bag of ranch seasoning mixture
3 tablespoons of crushed red pepper flakes
1 package of saltine crackers
Mix onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, seasoning mixture, and crushed red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
Then pour half of the butter firecracker juice over the biscuit. Pour the remaining 2 biscuit tubes into another 1-gallon bag and add the remaining butter firecracker juice. Seal the bags and shake them lightly so that they are completely covered with spices.
Then let the bag sit for thirty minutes to one hour. Shake to cover the biscuits, and let them stand for 8 hours or overnight before serving. If you don’t put them at the right time, they will taste too salty! If you let them sit for at least 8 hours, they are perfect. By the way, you don’t need to bake, although other recipes say otherwise. Baking will not make them crispier.
I have to say that I am sad I just learned about this delicious snack, but I am so glad I found it!
